Sunrisers are excited to announce the signing of pace bowler Eva Gray.
The right-arm seamer, 22, joins the Club from the South East Stars, having signed her first professional contract.
Gray comes into the group just weeks after winning the Stars’ 2022 Bowler of the Year accolade, having taken nine wickets in their Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy campaign, with a best of 3 for 28 against Lightning.
Eva has featured in the Oval Invincibles squad in both of their victorious Hundred campaigns, playing alongside new Sunrisers team-mate Mady Villiers. She was an ever-present in this year’s competition taking eight wickets, including 1 for 12 in this year’s finaland an impressive 2 for 10 against Spirit, both at Lord’s.
Gray was part of the Surrey Stars team that won the Kia Super League in 2018, and has played for the Stars ever since the Regional Structure was formed in 2020.
On signing her first professional contract, Gray said:

It is a great time to be involved at the Club - I can’t wait to build on our potential and see where we can go as a team over the winter and into next season.”
