Today, Jo Gardner became the latest Sunrisers player to be named in the 2021 Hundred, joining Naomi Dattani, Cordelia Griffith and Amara Carr, who have previously been unveiled to feature in the rearranged inaugural year of the ECB’s new competition.
Gardner will join up with the Oval Invincibles for the summer showcase, whilst both Carr and Dattani will maintain their Lord’s ties, teaming up with London Spirit. Completing the Sunrisers quartet is Cordelia Griffith, who will head northbound to represent Manchester Originals.
With the ECB set to announce the fixtures for this summer’s Hundred soon, the wait is almost over for our four Sunrisers players involved to learn who they’ll be up against and when!
